How ‘Jio’ revolutionized India?


Before the launch of giant Jio consumers were very careful about their data usage specially in video content on data network which was restricted per month.

But now its not the same old lame story, after Jio captured entire Telecom industry. In two years Jio has made data affordable and  accessible to customers.

Where India ranked 155th in terms of internet in 2016, now it is among top 5 nations in internet services. Indirectly India became most active market for Google and Facebook after 2016.With contemporary to that Facebook and Google are prioritizing regional language in order to engage rural crowd who prefer over English.

In order to remain in market other Telecom industries decided to provide services on the same price as Jio which brought the real war begin between Jio and others like Vodafone and Idea had to combine, Bharti Airtel bought Telenor and Tata Teleservices, while Aircel shrank.

Content providers like Hotstar, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Gaana, Saavn and many others have made their way and made millions per year.

India had surpassed US in terms of app downloading on the second seat after China.

We can imagine how hungry Indians are that within six months of Jio launch India became highest mobile data user in the world consuming 1 billion GB per month as compared to 200 million earlier.
